Year 1 Spells

FIRST YEARS CAN ONLY PERFORM FIRST YEAR SPELLS.

• Alohomora - Incantation "Alohomora" - Unlocking Charm - Charm that causes a locked door to open.
• Bubble-producing spell - Incantation unknown - produces a stream of multicolored, non-bursting bubbles.
• Hair-thickening Charm - Incantation unknown - a spell which legnthens and thiickens a person's hair.
• Lumos - Incantation "Lumos" - Wand-Lighting Charm, Lights your wand tip.
• Nox - Incantation "Nox" - Wand-Extinguishing Charm, Turns off the light produced by Lumos
• Periculum - Incantation "Periculum" - Also known as the "Red Sparks Spell, creates red sparks/flares to shoot from the user's wand.
• Purple Firecrackers - Incantation Unknown - Causes purple firecrackers to shoot out from the tip of one's wand.
• Reparo - Incantation "Reparo" - Mending Charm, Undoes damage to an object.
• Silencio - Incantation "Silencio" - Silencing Charm, Silences something
• Spongify - Incantation "Spongify" - Softens the target.
• Verdemillius - Incantation "Verdemillius" - Makes invisible platforms become visible.
• Wingardium Leviosa - Incantation "Wingardium Leviosa" - Levitates and moves the target; the wand movement is ‘swish and flick’.

• Finite - Incantation “Finite Incantatem” - A general counter spell which terminates almost all spells in effect in the area.
• Colloportus - Incantation "Colloportus" - Locking Spell, Seals a door, Making an odd squelching noise.
  Incendio - Incantation "Incendio" - starts a fire

• Flipendo - Incantation “Flipendo”- Pushes the target back and can knock out weaker objects or targets.

• Leg-Locker Curse - Incantation "Locomotor Mortis" - Locks opponents legs.
• Mucus Ad Nauseam - Incantation "Mucus Ad Nauseam" - Curse of the Bogies, extremely runny nose and a severe cold for a period of time.
• Petrificus Totalus - Incantation "Petrificus Totalus" - Temporarily binds the victim's body.
